UPS gave us a complimentary Saturday delivery of the packages so everything is in stock now but please note that orders will ship on Monday since we're on a skeleton crew today at the offices and billing personnel won't be coming in today on such short notice. We didn't expect the delivery but we'll prepare everything tomorrow and ship all remaining orders and new orders on Monday. Thanks.

A second largish shipment of FFVII AC Complete LE and "Cloud Black" bundles made it to UPS' distribution hub in Kentucky last night at 2:02AM but we don't see a dispatch scan out of Kentucky as of this morning. The shipment may still be delivered today after 2PM EST but that doesn't leave us with a lot of time to process/pack/ship a few hundred packages within a 2-3 hour time window. We'll do our best to get everything out if the packages do arrive in the afternoon. Update 4:13PM EST Not here yet so Monday it is.

We'll post some more news later today to update the delivery status but if the shipment doesn't arrive on time, please note that it would be re-scheduled for Monday since it's unlikely that they'd try to make a delivery attempt on Saturday. New orders for both items are welcome to ship on Monday.

«©NCSX» Sony hasn't gone overboard with Playstation 3 console variants in the past few years. We're attributing the scarcity of variants to the relatively high price point of the console. This year however, Sony has already released three PS3 variants - The Ryu Ga Gotoku 3 Rise Dragon PS3, the Biohazard 4 Tricell PS3, and today's FFVII Cloud Black PS3. The third Playstation 3 variant for 2009 was released to Japanese retail last night and NCS is shipping them out to preorders this afternoon. The contents of the bundle are as follows:

» Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Complete Limited Edition Blu-Ray
» Final Fantasy XIII playable preview for Playstation 3
» Dual Shock 3 controller

The packaging for the bundle is decorated with a somber image of Cloud where he glares out into the world while the Buster Sword is slung over his shoulder. As mentioned in our bullet list above, the FFXIII "Cloud Black" Playstation 3 features a white ink etching of the Cloudy Wolf on the top shell - the Cloudy Wolf is Cloud Strife's personal symbol.

The version of FFVII Advent Children Complete that's included inside the "Cloud Black" package also sports a variant cover which features the same Cloudy Wolf etching that's featured on top of the PS3 console.

Most preorders for the Cloud Black PS3 bundle are shipping today but please note that some shipments are still in transit and are scheduled to arrive tomorrow. All remaining preorders will ship on Friday when our second batch of shipments arrive. Thanks.

Please note that new orders placed after 8:30AM EDT today will ship on April 17 (Friday). Japanese distributors have shipped our PS3 Cloud Bundles last night along with the FFVII AC Limited Edition Blu-Rays. Both shipments are scheduled to arrive tomorrow and preorders are shipping out on Thursday. Please note however that some Cloud bundle shipments were sent from different vendors which have not pre-cleared through customs as of 11:23AM EST today. If they don't clear on time, there is a chance that some bundles may not arrive until Friday. Just a heads up to alert everyone of the split incoming shipments.

«©NCSX» Square Enix announced three versions of the upcoming FFVII Advent Children Complete Blu-Ray yesterday and NCS starts preorders today. The Blu-Ray disc ships in Japan on April 16, 2009 but a North American date has not been announced yet.

Final Fantasy VII Advent Children "Cloud Black" PS3 Edition
   The second version of FFVII AC Blu-Ray throws in Playstation 3 (160GB) console that's decorated with a special imprint. The Final Fantasy XIII "Cloud Black" Playstation 3 features a white ink etching of the Cloudy Wolf on the top shell. In case you're wondering, the Cloudy Wolf is Cloud Strife's personal symbol. The Final Fantasy XIII preview is also included in the bundle which makes it the "comprehensive" version of Blu-Ray release. Pricing for the bundle is set at JPY49,980 or US$779.90 from NCS. Due to the weight of the Cloud Black PS3 bundle, NCS recommends only shipping by UPS Ground within the United States.

   The first version listed on the distribution preorder sheet is dubbed the FFVII AC Complete First Print Limited Edition which is priced at JPY5900 or US$70.90 from NCS. To whet the appetites of Fantasy fans, Square includes a preview of Final Fantasy XIII which is scheduled to ship later this year in Japan and sometime in 2010 stateside. We've watched previews of the game and read numerous tidbits on the pages of Famitsu but the preview will be the first time we'll get to check out the adventures of Lightning (the female version of Cloud), Snow Villiers, and other cohorts in the comfort of our little gaming den.

Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Regular Edition
   Last but not least, a Regular Edition of the Blu-Ray will also ship in April which does not include the FFXIII preview. If you just want the movie by its lonesome, then this is the version for you at the price of JPY4900 or US$58.90 from NCS.

   Preorders for the three versions are welcome to ship on April 16, 2009.
