«©NCSX» One day, Toad shows Mario and Princess a new contraption that turns anyone into a ball. Toad demonstrates the device by stepping betwixt two yellow-colored hemispheres which clamp together and shape subjects into perfect spheres. Toad then shoots himself out of a cannon onto a target. In the Mushroom Kingdom, fun doesn't get much better than that. Princess eagerly steps up for her sphere-shaping turn but two Goombas step up and aim the cannon at Bowser's castle where Princess bounces inside the gates. With a new rescue mission to attend to, Mario hurtles into action by becoming a pinball who travels through stages in his quest for Princess...
