«©NCSX» The year is 2015 A.D. and Ayato Kamina is a high school student in Tokyo which remains the last city on Earth. However, they have come to this sanctuary as well and bombard Tokyo with brutal force. Kamina is caught up in the attack but is led by a girl named Reika Mishima to a black egg which hatches a mecha-weapon called RahXephon. Typical of the archetypal hero saga, only Kamina is capable of controlling RahXephon and he takes up the task of defending Tokyo and the world against aggression.
