Update: November 15, 2013 1) Only Japanese Playstation Network accounts may be accessed through the current firmware on the Playstation Vita TV. If you only have a USA/EU Playstation Network account, you will not be able to access your account on the Vita TV as of this time with the installed firmware. Any attempt to access the Vita TV with a USA PSN account will result in the message, "This service is not available in your country/region." Future firmware updates should allow you to access USA/EU Playstation Network accounts as the Playstation Vita TV hardware is released outside Japan. 2) Not every Playstation Vita game is compatible with the Vita TV. Sony has released a list of games that are playable on the hardware and there's approximately 60 titles that are not playable. If you try to play an unsupported Vita game on the Vita TV, you will receive a message which states, "This application cannot be used with the PS Vita TV system." Please note that physical US/EU Playstation Vita game cards that are on Sony's Japanese compatible game list will work on the Japanese Playstation Vita TV without issue. few days to go before my order arrives in west australia.
and i cant wait to hook it up and suss it out i think this is real handy bit of kit to add to your vita and it sucks how Australia is always last on the list when it comes to high tec stuff, we just get mainstream stuff there are no coloured consoles at all on sale in Australia just standard black ones.. we have to import the coloured consoles from japan and it ends up costing a fortune but what do you do? go without.... ha not me i love ps vita theres 5 ppl in my family and 4 of us own ps vitas.
