«©NCSX» The Onin War in 1467-1477 saw the majority of Japanese provinces in a state of war or "sengoku jidai," which translates to Warring States. A weak emperor gave impetus to 260 separate daimyo (feudal houses) to remain independent and battle other daimyo for control of Japan. It was from this backdrop that Oda Nobunaga, Tokugawa Ieyasu and Toyotomi Hideyoshi sought to use their soldiers and power to unite Japan under a single house.
Against this wartime period, protagonist Hiroshi emerges as the lead in Nijyuei. A samurai without a master due to the flux at the time, Hiroshi roams the countryside as a cursed ronin. Seeking to rid himself of the affliction, Hiroshi visits an island where a pair of twin girls who may be able to help him reside. Female warriors on the island also factor in the storyline who may provide romantic stimulation for the main hero.
