«©NCSX» Join Tetsuro and Maetel on a tour of the galaxy and relive the story of the Galaxy Express 999 animated series. As the story goes, Tetsuro hopes to transfer his consciousness into a mechanical body by taking a ride to the Andromeda Galaxy. On the way to his personal salvation, his mother is murdered by a ruthless hunter named Count Mecha. Tetsuro vows revenge but he meets a woman named Maetel who gives him a pass on the Galaxy Express which will lead him to the Andomeda Galaxy and grant him immortality. On the way there, Tetsuro and Maetel visit numerous planets and gain important life experiences. The NDS game features the voice cast from the animated series, a 4-player competitive board game, and a Data Collection which contains information on events, characters, and items from the Galaxy Express 999 serial.
