«©NCSX» Japanese manufacturer Epoch opened up preorders for capsule toy kits that they translated to "Ghost Shrimp" but the creatures in the photo are actually Brine Shrimp. Each kit includes a packet of salt, brine shrimp eggs, and algae-based food. To help users handle the powdery contents of each packet, a little spoon that's connected to a magnifying glass is also included. Instructions (in Japanese) offer basic details on caring for the shrimp and raising them to adulthood.
Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late May 2008 at US$7.50 per kit which includes shipping by USPS Media Mail within the USA.
