If you've never enjoyed a Fushigi no Dungeon game, here's how they work: Players explore a dungeon where every movement is stutter-step and in sync with everything else in the game world. For example, when you make a move, all monsters in the room also make a move in time to every step you take. That means when Shiren is next to a monster and he attacks the beast, the beast counterattacks right afterwards.

The scenario in Furai no Shiren 5 is brand new and wireless connectivity is supported so players can trade items and equipment with each other.
