«©NCSX» In Level 5's new Danball Senki game, players adopt the role of a competitive lad who pits a small robot known as an LBX against other robots in expansive one-on-one arenas. Players take control of their LBX and maneuver it in real-time on grassy fields, blackened terrain, and even city streets. The gameplay is reminiscent of Bandai's Gundam Battle games on the PSP where the robots run, gun, and jump-jet their way through the battlefields. In addition to the standard melee attacks, the mechs can perform combination strikes and special attacks that smack opponents something fierce.
When the robots aren't fighting, the protagonists explore the game world by running through detailed environs and interact with supporting cast members.
The first production of Danball Senki includes an LBX AX-00 toy model kit that's packaged along with the game in a cardboard box.
