«©NCSX» When the protagonist of Bokomu no Tatsujin surrenders to the Sandman and drifts off to sleep, it's time to engage in a board game. Populated with strangely themed mini-games and scenarios, our hero gets to confront/unleash hidden "alter-egos" with which he can succeed. The mini games invariably involve Pavlovian button tapping, repetitive pattern matching, and fairly simple button sequencing to succeed. Drawn in a wavering childish scrawl, the visuals help to convey a feel of a dreamy netherworld, both tenuous and seemingly fleeting in it's existence.
