    Kirby joins the trend of BIG plush toys where the likes of Mario and Yoshi have explored before in Taito's Tokudai series. SK Japan's Kirby plush toys are inspired by the Hoshi no Kirby Wii game aka Return to Dreamland (modern incarnation) and the Nintendo Famicom Hoshi no Kirby: Yume no Izumi no Monogatari aka Kirby's Adventure game (classic Kirby) in which the pink puff holds up the Star Rod in triumphant fashion.
