Based on the movie and books by Yuichi Kimura, Arashi no Yoruni (translates to "On a stormy night") is a touching story of pure friendship without qualifications or conditional modifiers.
The Nintendo DS game takes the form of a digital novel which is played from the perspective of an audience member who travels with the wolf and goat through seven chapters which match the 7 volumes of the Arashi no Yoruni books. The interactive novel contains mini-games as well as puzzle games which diversify the action. Depending on how one plays the mini-games and puzzles, one of seven endings concludes a session. The endings are exclusive to the NDS game and were not part of the original published works and movie.
