Synopsis
Dive into the ocean and answer the riddle of the mystical sea!
'AQUANAUT' S HOLIDAY™' for the PS3 is the latest version of a game that
originated on the original PlayStation® and that earlier release serves as the
foundation for the new game which adds on many new essential factors that take
advantage of the PS3 hardware. Thanks to the mighty acoustic and optical
performance which only the PS3™ can provide, 'AQUANAUT' S HOLIDAY™ recreates
the lifelike sea ecology found in the depths of the ocean and allows
the entire the family to explore and experience the charm of the over 5000
creatures who reside in the sea.
Players take on the role of a news reporter who's been tasked with finding
the whereabouts of a young marine biologist who's gone missing in a submarine
known as the DOLPHIN 2. With that task in mind, the reporter heads for a reef
formation located in the South Pacific. While searching for the biologist,
players will learn about ocean biology and solve puzzles and tasks to reach
certain goals which uncover additional information towards finding the missing
biologist.
Along with the main game, players will also be able to engage
in ocean photography and store photographs to HDD for reference and perusal later.
