Release Date: July 15, 2015 The original Stormtrooper armor as seen in the Star Wars movies enjoyed a clean and simple aesthetic that was free from contrivances. In Square Enix's Variant Play Arts re-imagining of the Stormtrooper, there's a lot more complication as the armor undergoes the addition of contrived reticulation. Similar to other Play Arts figures, the new Stormtrooper is packaged with extra hands, a blaster pistol, a blaster rifle, and a muzzle flash prop to simulate the firing of a weapon.
