«©NCSX» Tecmo eschews the cel-shaded stylings of Monster Farm 3 for a more traditional visual style in the fourth incarnation of their monster creation game. Similar to Monster Farms past, players create a monster from a stable of 300 possible creatures by inserting a CD or DVD into the PS2. Watch in fascination as the MF4 software scans the disk and effects monster genesis on your television. Players start off on a ranch and gradually grow from humble wannabe to worldly monster rancher equipped with the latest gear and training equipment for your fledgling beasts.
New to the game is an adventure mode where a squad of beasts roam with your protagonist and attack opposing foes. Explore dungeons, face off against dungeon crawlers and discover treasure and items of considerable worth. Monster battles may also be fought in standard tournaments to level the creatures up to top fighting shape.
