«©NCSX» Kadokawa Shoten celebrated the 25th Anniversary of the Macross franchise earlier this year with a new televised animation titled Macross Frontier. The final episode airs on September 25, 2008 and a spate of merchandise has been announced to mark the conclusion of the popular series.
Cospa's first Macross Frontier product takes on the design of the shirt worn by Alto Saotome who attends the Mihoshi Academy aboard the 25th Macross Colonial Fleet. The blue thing on the shoulder in the photo to the left isn't an epaulet - it's just a blue strip of cloth that provides an accent to the shirt. The front pocket is adorned with a Macross Frontier emblem which is probably familiar only to fans of the franchise.
