NCS Product Synopsis Update: July 12, 2006 «©NCSX» Nintendo reaches back to the dawn of the video gaming timeline and finds inspiration in PONG for the first volume of Bit Generations. Relive the olden days with four variations of paddle-meets-ball and a fifth game that's reminiscent of Juggler.
» Pool Flower: Bat a ball against another player on a bubble-filled playfield. The bubbles serve as directional modifiers with a literal twist. » Box Juggling: Maneuver a stick figure and hit boxes to bounce them up. » Power Slider: Smack a ball by controlling a man on an ice rink. » Human League: A doubly good time with 2-vs-2 ball bouncing action where the paddles are strung up on taut lengths of string. » Wild Go Round: Record player serves as playfield for Pong variant.

NCS Game Notes » In Pool Flower, two grey silhouette men clutch a red or blue paddle and bat a ball back and forth between each other. As the ball hits each paddle, it takes on the color of the paddle. Push, shove, and ricochet the ball around the screen while blue and red bubbles slowly filter into the screen. If the ball is blue and heads into a blue bubble, it'll pass through and cause the bubble to shimmy a little bit. If the blue ball hits a red bubble, it'll bounce off and carom back at you. As more bubbles waft into screen, the physics and mechanics of game play get tricky with the ball bouncing every which way between paddles and bubbles.
» Box Juggling - a square of a man at the bottom of the screen moves left and right while hitting squares with his retractable arms. When yellow boxes drift near the subject's upright arms, shove them up to send them flying into the air.
» Power Slider - two customized paddles are affixed to the rim of a figure 8 rink that's been turned on its side. With the attached scooper, smack the ball around the rink in an effort to blow it past your COM-controlled opponent. Whenever the ball drops into the rink, it'll deposit a little obstacle which will change the trajectory of the ball if it connects. After a while, many obstacles dot the rink.
» Human League - There's blue and yellow sides split in the middle of the screen. Two red paddles are located on the blue side and two blue paddles sit on the yellow side. All paddles are held aloft by tensile string. Move the dual paddles around (up, down, left, right) within the range of the string while hitting a ball. Get it past your opponent to score points. As a paddle hits the ball, it'll exclaim various sayings such as "RAAAA!" and "YEEEE!!" to spice up the action.
» Wild Go Round - Two barrier carrying figures are mounted to the rim of a record player with a record in the center titled "Boundish." One figure is colored red and the other is colored blue. Smack the ball around in an attempt to send it sailing past an opponent. Whenever the blue figure hits the ball, the center of the record label changes color to blue. Likewise, when red man hits the ball, the record label switches to red. As the ball is hit across through the surface of the vinyl, it'll spin slightly to change the English for tricky and unpredictable turns.
